Seeking a highly organized and client-focused Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of product and service accounts. This role emphasizes relationship management, onboarding, communication, retention, and identifying opportunities for growth within existing accounts. The position collaborates cross-functionally to ensure high-value customer experience and long-term client success.
Responsibilities- Act as the main point of contact and internal coordinator for a designated portfolio of client accounts.
- Oversee account health by supporting adoption, engagement, and retention strategies for existing clients.
- Lead onboarding processes for new clients and coordinate initial support to ensure early success.
- Track communications, timelines, deliverables, open issues, and follow-up actions across multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align priorities and ensure timely execution of client needs.
- Maintain proactive and consistent communication to keep clients informed and confident in the partnership.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for expanded services, broader product adoption, or referrals within current accounts.
- Resolve client issues efficiently by coordinating with internal teams and maintaining accurate account records and follow-up actions.
- 3+ years of experience in account management, sales, client services, customer success, project coordination, or a similar client-facing role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client accounts in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience as a primary client contact.
- Experience supporting onboarding, implementation, or launches for products or services.
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple work streams and manage deadlines and follow-up actions.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking, reporting, and follow-up management.
- Experience working with CRM systems.
- Familiarity with Hub Spot is a plus.
- Experience using project management software (Wrike experience preferred).
- Background supporting clients in life sciences, biotech, pharmaceutical development, or related technical fields is advantageous.
- Ability to identify growth opportunities within existing accounts while maintaining a service-first, relationship-oriented approach.
