About This Role
The Business Development Manager - North America Parts is responsible for identifying and creating new business opportunities for Carrier RC business. There will be a strong focus on Indoor Air Control and System Control opportunities by developing and implementing strategic plans to expand the customer base and increase revenue. Desired candidate must demonstrate the ability to identify and address obstacles, look for opportunities, possess strong attention to detail in order to positively impact business results and work with the highest levels of integrity.
The desired candidate will be an energetic leader who leverages best practices to set direction and drive change.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other lead generation methods.
- Achieves financial objectives by developing and maintaining relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Drives a customer focused culture to meet and exceed internal and external customer expectations.
- Leads efforts to encourage and foster teamwork with cross functional to ensure all objectives are met.
- BA/BS degree
- 8+ years of experience in engineering, sales, business development and/or product management role
- Ability to travel up to 60%
- MA/MS with 8+ years of related experience in sales, marketing, business development, engineering or product management
- Success with thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Proven ability to execute with speed and exhibit a bias for action mindset.
- Ability to think outside the box, innovate, take risks, challenge the status quo and implement progressive, sustainable solutions.
- Technical knowledge / understanding of the HVAC product industry or ability to learn quickly.
- Advanced level skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint) and Salesforce CRM
- Execute internal business deliverables within the appropriate timeframe.
- Moderate experience with sales tools and software (Salesforce, quoting tools, etc).
- Business development mindset with the ability to think creatively and implement strategies to drive increased sales.
