Manages state/local sales directly to end‑users of the organization’s products or services in a large specified geographic area, or is responsible for a specific industry or product segment on a national or geographic basis.
Responsibilities- Lead a sales team within the designated region, conduct strategic account planning, and manage relationships with existing and new customers.
- Align the Mobile Video sales team with Motorola Solutions’ territory teams and key work partners to enhance sales and execution.
- Establish a collaborative, energetic working environment as the region leader.
- Hold the sales team accountable for achieving/exceeding the Committed View (CV) forecast.
- Use strong leadership and communication skills to outline a clear vision and execute the strategy.
- Provide an environment where changes in market focus, product performance, and customer requirements are communicated and acted upon.
- Establish ownership while understanding business goals for the territory and contributors.
- Set go‑to‑market strategies with direct and indirect selling resources.
- Generate a long‑term, multi‑year sales pipeline and account strategy.
- Create, strengthen, and manage reseller and Motorola manufacturer representative organizations.
- Develop strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers within the existing customer base.
- Support the sales team in negotiating large contracts.
- Resolve complex customer service and satisfaction issues.
- Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of sales/public safety experience OR 8+ years of sales/public safety experience.
- 1+ year of leadership experience preferred.
- Proven ability to help drive product decisions and support customers’ existing and future needs.
- Experience developing Motorola procurement vehicles for multiple solutions across a target account.
- Ability to attract and develop a diverse pool of future leaders.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding assigned sales goals.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
Preferred candidate will reside in one of the following states: AR, LA, MS, AL, TN, NC, SC, GA, FL. Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
SalaryTarget Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $115,000 USD. Pay within this range varies and depends on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
