A leading organization in the orthopedic space is seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to join a fast‑paced, dedicated team. This entry‑level position will support the sales team in achieving territory goals and quotas while building strong customer relationships.
The Associate Sales Representative will assist with executing sales strategies, managing customer communications, and supporting surgical case logistics. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow within a high‑performance, relationship‑driven sales environment. The territory is Durham, NC, and the candidate must be willing to travel there during the week.
Responsibilities- Support the assigned sales team in achieving territory sales goals and objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, physician assistants, nurses, technologists, and key healthcare stakeholders
- Assist with delivery and management of instruments and implants for surgical cases
- Participate in training programs related to sales, products, and industry knowledge
- Maintain a strong understanding of the orthopedic product portfolio (e.g., shoulder, trauma, knee, hip, orthobiologics, capital equipment)
- Communicate with existing and prospective customers regarding product updates and offerings
- Assist with executing sales plans and marketing strategies to drive growth within the territory
- Support new product introductions and identify cross‑selling opportunities
- Develop selling skills through mentorship and hands‑on experience
- Ensure compliance with company policies, healthcare regulations, and ethical standards
- Maintain required credentialing for access to healthcare facilities

- 2-4 years demonstrated sales success in competitive B2B industry
- Desire to learn and command a high level of technical information, anatomy and indications as it relates to surgery and procedures
- Hard work mentality and willingness to put in the work (think IG like people)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Valid US drivers license with clear motor vehicle record
- Bachelor's Degree required; knowledge and background of human anatomy preferred
- Sales background in sports, sports medicine or competition preferred
