Sales Associate

This Sales Associate role supports store management by promoting a customer and product-focused sales culture, ensuring excellent customer experience and profitability. The position may be present across multiple brands.

• Meet company sales goals using effective sales techniques and product knowledge; recommend merchandise selections or assist customers in locating or ordering merchandise.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, pricing, and visual standards.
• Execute merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and other duties as directed.
• Participate in visual directives, including monthly store sets and zone maintenance.

• Model and promote MAPS principles and standards, offering a cohesive omni-channel experience.
• Ensure prompt resolution of customer concerns.
• Provide a fast and efficient register experience while keeping current on policies related to payments, coupon acceptance, returns, exchanges, security practices, and other operations.
• Reinforce buying decisions at checkout and achieve add-on goals, including gift card sales.
• Enroll clients in the reward program.
• Build and maintain a solid customer follow-up through clienteling and wardrobe management.
• Know current product fit and style assortment offerings in-store and online.
• Maintain consistent client communication through a customer book.

• Support replenishment activities to keep the store full.
• Assist with location fulfillment.
• Assist with visual directives, including floor sets, window changes, visual presentations, and signage placement.
• Help maintain boutique cleanliness and organization.

• Promote an inclusive, collaborative problem-solving approach.
• Seek personal development opportunities and solicit feedback.

• High-school diploma or equivalent.
• Retail or sales experience preferred.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to learn or adapt to company technology.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication with customers, associates, and management.
• Reliability and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Constant walking/standing—67-100% of an 8-hour shift.
