ResearchProject
- Improve estimation and valuation of health effects of air pollution, including uncertainty of health effect estimates at low ambient levels, development of economic welfare cost estimates, and behavioral responses that mitigate exposure.
- Estimate health effects of air pollution under various environmental conditions (e.g., ambient temperature).
- Estimate and value non-human effects of air pollution such as ecological and animal impacts, with emphasis on economic valuation.
- Estimate and value air pollutants with unavailable human concentration-response relationships, applying New Approach Methodologies to Hazardous Air Pollutants.
Participants will develop experience in applying scientific or economic research to policy issues and may develop new methods.
