• Conduct research in neurogene therapy, focusing on novel viral and non‑viral gene therapy approaches to manipulate brain function.
• Collaborate across basic science departments and the Gene Therapy Institute to translate research into clinical testing.
• Engage in teaching and clinical practice as appropriate.
• Participate in service activities and departmental governance.

• Ph.D., M.D., or other terminal degree with postdoctoral training.
• Commitment to basic and/or translational neuroscience.
• Strong research productivity and a history of establishing independent research programs.
• Capacity to develop collaborative research ideas with existing programs.
• Research statement detailing planned independent research, description of prior research experience, and a detailed curriculum vitae (CV).
