Labcorp is seeking a Molecular Genetics Intern to join our Research and Development Team located in Durham, NC.
Work Schedule:
M‑F / 40hrs per week.
- Gain hands‑on development and troubleshooting experience in a lab setting
- Collaborate with experts across departments to drive innovation and continuous improvement
- Contribute to cross‑functional projects
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry or Biomedical Science
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and willingness to follow laboratory procedures
- Eagerness to learn new laboratory skills and scientific concepts
- Show initiative and the ability to work independently under general supervision
- Maintains professionalism, including punctuality and appropriate conduct
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Actively participates in training sessions and applies newly learned skills accordingly
- Has experience delivering multiple projects in an academic or professional setting
- Ability to work both independently and with diverse team members
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
