As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Officer in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Your presence will contribute to a welcoming environment, and you will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication.

- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to de-escalate situations as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents, promptly communicating with appropriate personnel as required.
- Assist with access control procedures, monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
- Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergencies or drills by following established protocols and providing clear communication.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of daily activities, incidents, and observations according to site-specific requirements.
- Being at least 21 years of age is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
