Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities;
Control access at entrances and gate areas by verifying identification, processing visitor and contractor check-in and/or check-out, and issuing site credentials per post orders;
Monitor inbound and outbound vehicle and trailer traffic, verify shipping and receiving documentation as required, and record entries in written and/or electronic logs;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or emergency services per site protocol;
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including warehouse, yard, and parking areas
