Unarmed Security Supervisor

Position Summary

Acts as the primary leader on our security services contract with  Services LLC in North Carolina (Hamlet Area). The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing security officers and ensuring they provide all routine patrol and access control functions, including property control. The Supervisor plans, schedules, assigns, reviews, and supervises field or office operations on an assigned shift; coordinates and performs investigations, patrol, traffic, and administrative duties.

Maintains a good working relationship with the client. This position works shifts day and night.

• Reports to the contract manager
• Make critical decisions independently
• Provide oversight to shift security guards
• Communicate with facility representatives and customers
• Patrol facilities and report all security or safety deficiencies
• Conduct timed patrol tours and special signoffs as directed
• Respond to alarms and unauthorized access events
• Supervise and enforce access and property control policies at all gates and lobbies
• Provide first aid, CPR, and assist during emergencies as necessary
• Ensure safety requirements compliance and safe work practices
• Occasional travel required; willing to work rotating shifts
• Duties require lifting more than 10 pounds and may involve lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 lbs; require bending, twisting, standing, and some activity that involves standing for long periods; conduct foot patrols and respond to alarms in varied weather conditions, climbing up to 8 flights of stairs; 90% of the work involves physical activity
