- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and urgent situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including hallways, waiting areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general assistance, and report security‑related issues involving restricted areas, property, and/or personnel.
- Support site operations by observing for maintenance concerns, policy violations, and other conditions that may impact daily activity, and communicate findings through required reports and/or logs.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
