Security Officer Part Time Morning Patrol

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Saturday: 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM
• Sunday: 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff, carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations calmly and in a problem‑solving manner, and communicate relevant details to property management or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, parking areas, loading areas, and the exterior perimeter to deter unwanted activity and observe unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, common areas, and visitor activity while following post orders and documenting incidents, observations, and daily activities in required reports.
• Assist with checking doors, gates, lighting, and other property conditions during patrols, and report hazards, policy violations, or suspicious activity to the appropriate contacts.

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
