- Provide customer service to all site personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a chemical and petrochemical environment.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or hazards to the appropriate contacts.
- Support Allied Universal and site personnel by preparing clear reports, maintaining accurate activity logs, and assisting with investigations related to incidents, property concerns, and/or policy compliance.
- Be able to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Be available for last minute shift scheduling.
- Be able to meet Branch Flex travel distance requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
