Job type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $20.84 / Hour
Schedule: 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM (Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat, Sun)
What You’ll Do- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, grounds, and perimeter to help identify potential concerns and report security‑related issues.
- Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, assisting with visitor processing, and following site‑specific access procedures.
- Support daily operations by observing for environmental and operational irregularities, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and assisting with orderly movement throughout the location.
- At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
