** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare and research-focused location.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, building entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or access concerns.

+ Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization in accordance with site procedures; document and report access-related issues to appropriate personnel.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, medical-related calls, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.

+ Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + At least one year of security-related experience is required.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
