As a Security Officer Full Time Customer Service Patrol Driver in Durham, NC
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and assist visitors and personnel with professionalism. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Bring strong communication and customer service skills while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

Job Schedule:

What You ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as required by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site policies, and maintain accurate incident, patrol, and daily activity reports.
• Communicate professionally with government personnel, visitors, and law enforcement partners while following Allied Universal and site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
