Hiring Salary Range: $46,762.00 - $53,373.00.

Hours:
Monday – Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.

- Prepare grave sites for burial services at both City-owned Cemeteries.
- Operating construction equipment including, but not limited to, dump trucks, front-end loaders, and tractors.
- Provide general grounds maintenance support including, but not limited to, mowing/trimming, grave maintenance, and brush removal.
- A weekend work schedule is normally rotated among Cemetery staff.
- Work well on a team with a sense of urgency.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED, HiSet, TASC).
- Three years of experience related to assignment.
- A valid North Carolina Class "B" CDL "or" obtain within 6 months of hire.
- North Carolina Pesticide Applicators License.
- MUTCD Roadside Environmental Safety Certification.
- Experience working in roadside environments.
- Experience driving a 1-ton truck with trailer or equivalent.
- Experience operating a suite of landscape equipment (zero-turn mower, edger, trimmer, blower, tractor).
- 12-13 paid holidays per year
