Engine Equipment Mechanic

Job Summary

The Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for all aspects of troubleshooting, repair and maintenance service of a wide range of equipment that is needed to perform all landscape functions.

• Troubleshoot equipment accurately and repair breakdowns quickly to maintain operating efficiency.
• Proven abilities in a wide range of technical skills in repairing all landscaping and construction equipment with 2-cylce engines and 4-cycle engines and other small engines including but not limited to:
  Mowers Blowers Weed Eaters Tractors Skid Steers
• Perform oil changes, air filter changes, belt replacements and inspect all safety devices of equipment.
• Perform off site repairs
• Pick up of parts from vendors
• Assist in maintaining service records for all equipment
• Maintain and organize parts as needed
• Assure that all parts go through company inventory.
• Maintain Shop area, yard, and building
• Communicates with managers internally as needed in order to insure crews have proper equipment to perform task.
• Insure OSHA and other regulations are followed for all equipment
• Assist Company in seasonal services provided to customers.
