DescriptionOur Maintenance Technicians are the unsung heroes who keep the party going. You’re the one who fixes the leaks, paints the walls, and ensures the building is safe and looking sharp. We’re looking for a jack-of-all-trades who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty and takes pride in a job well done.
What You’ll Do- Fix it all. Handle repairs across a wide range of trades including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, painting, and welding.
- Patrol the perimeter. Perform thorough daily inspections of the entire facility (interior and exterior) to identify necessary repairs or safety issues.
- Be the on‑call hero. Respond to emergency maintenance needs, including nights and weekends when things go sideways.
- Beautify the space. Manage landscaping, trash collection, and janitorial tasks to keep our first impression strong. You’ll also help decorate for special events and holidays.
- Manage the stuff. Make smart purchasing decisions for supplies, manage inventory, and keep records of repairs and warranties organized.
- Hit the road (sometimes). Travel to storage units, hardware store, and other Boxcar locations to assist with various projects or fill in for other Maintenance Techs.

- Experience. You have intermediate proficiency (or higher) in facilities maintenance, trade work, and in maintaining coolers and draft lines.
- Skills. You possess knowledge of fire, life safety, and OSHA regulations.
- Communication. You’ll need to clearly communicate maintenance details to the General Manager and ownership.
- Conscientiousness. You take the job seriously, but you don’t take yourself too seriously.
- Reliability. Full stop. Show up, on time, every time. You have personal transportation to travel between locations or to hardware stores, if necessary.
- Availability. You are ready to work weekends and respond to on‑call emergencies as the business needs.
- Physically ready. You are able to stand for 8 hours, work in confined spaces, and climb ladders up to 30 feet.
