Position:
Commercial Technician – Durham, NC (Carolina Industrial Systems, a DH Pace Company, Inc.)
Commercial Technicians will be trained by industry experts to perform repairs on automatic doors, manual entry doors, commercial doors, and door hardware. Candidates with a background in construction labor, electrical work, carpentry, installation and servicing of products, and mechanics typically excel in this role and are encouraged to apply if they enjoy challenging themselves and becoming a trusted advisor to others.
Job Responsibilities- Repair a wide range of automatic doors, manual entry doors, commercial doors and door hardware
- Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services
- Track and maintain job‑related paperwork and submit it in a timely manner
- Operate in a safety conscious manner at all times while performing job duties
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma/GED (preferred)
- At least one (1+) year experience in the commercial/automatic/entry door industry (preferred)
- Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds
- Ability to work at heights and use a ladder
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
