** Description of Work
** This role supports the operation, maintenance, and repair of air‐conditioning and refrigeration systems by applying working knowledge of refrigeration theory, building automation systems, direct digital controls, and related electrical and pneumatic components. The position troubleshoots equipment performance issues, identifies effective repair methods, and uses appropriate tools and materials to restore system functionality within established operational guidelines.
Key

Duties Include:

• Diagnose malfunctions in air conditioning, refrigeration, and control systems to determine appropriate repair actions  
• Troubleshoot and repair direct digital control components and building automation system functions  
• Perform maintenance and repair on centrifugal and reciprocating compressors  
• Inspect, adjust, and maintain pneumatic control systems  
• Apply electrical knowledge to resolve issues in complex control circuits  
• Select and use tools, materials, and equipment appropriate for system repair and maintenance  
• Verify proper operation of HVAC and refrigeration systems following repair or adjustment
