About the Opportunity
We are seeking experienced Electrical Test Technicians to support testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low and medium voltage electrical power distribution systems across industrial, utility, healthcare, and mission‑critical environments.
This role is ideal for technicians with strong field experience working on electrical infrastructure including switch gear, transformers, circuit breakers, protective relays, MCCs, UPS systems, and medium‑voltage cable systems. Candidates will work alongside a highly technical team supporting critical electrical systems where safety, reliability, and system performance are top priorities.
What You’ll Do- Perform acceptance, maintenance, and troubleshooting testing on electrical power distribution equipment
- Inspect, analyze, and diagnose issues within low and medium voltage systems
- Support commissioning, startup, retrofit, and modernization projects
- Test and service equipment including switch gear, transformers, breakers, relays, MCCs, UPS systems, and cable systems
- Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications to execute testing procedures accurately
- Prepare detailed field reports, documentation, and test results
- Maintain compliance with NETA, IEEE, ANSI, NFPA, and site‑specific safety standards
- Communicate findings, deficiencies, and recommendations clearly with customers and project teams
- Support emergency response and field troubleshooting activities when required
- Minimum 5 years of electrical testing, commissioning, or field service experience preferred
- Experience working with low and medium voltage electrical systems
- Knowledge of electrical testing equipment, procedures, and troubleshooting methods
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and one‑lines
- Familiarity with NETA, NFPA 70E, ANSI, and IEEE standards preferred
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites
- NETA Level II, III, or IV Certification
- Medium‑voltage cable testing, terminations, or splicing
- Low‑voltage breaker testing and maintenance
- Relay testing and commissioning support
- Experience supporting industrial plants, substations, utilities, data centers, or mission‑critical facilities
