Position: UTILITY DISTRIBUTION MECHANIC II
Duke University -  - Responsibilities:
Following a predetermined schedule as well as emergency work as needed, assist in preventative maintenance on utility distribution systems and building components related to the utility distribution mechanics responsibilities.;
Perform utility distribution and building component maintenance tasks given by higher level mechanic and/or supervisor.;
Data entry into the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) relevant to work orders, inventory/ asset management, and preventive maintenance forms, lockout/tagout procedures, hot work permitting, and other trade-relevant documentation.;
Use and maintain specialized testing devices, hand and power tools associated with the trade;
Assist in the process of lock-out/tag-out of equipment for maintenance personnel.
