Duke University - - Responsibilities:
Perform general repairs and preventive maintenance on all air conditioner units, water coolers, split systems, heat pumps, mixing boxes, and refrigeration equipment.;
Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust pneumatic, electronic, and line voltage controls.;
Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, block diagrams, ladder diagrams, and electrical schematics.;
Install wiring to connect components to electric power sources and read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams.;
Be on call or Stand-By as described in the Local 465 agreement.
