ISC’s team of Executive Recruiters is partnering with an established and growing Instrumentation & Controls Services company to identify I&C Technicians.
The Instrumentation & Controls (I/C) Technician is responsible for installing, calibrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial instrumentation and control systems to support safe, precise, and reliable process operations.
Our client is willing to train someone with an Electrician background for this role.

Qualifications- 5+ years of instrumentation and controls experience, including calibration, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills; experience with control valves and system testing
- Ability to read P&IDs and schematics; working knowledge of PLC, DCS, SCADA, RTU, and VFD systems
- Experience with compliance, documentation, and supporting startups, outages, and emergency response
- Strong communication skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, and ability to maintain tools and equipment
- Willing to travel 90–100% and work in industrial environments; must pass a drug test and obtain a passport/TWIC card
- Collaborative, professional, independent, self‑driven, motivated, proactive
- Willing to learn & teach; knows how to search for answers or will ask
- Certifications and/or Training a plus

- $40-45 per hour plus OT – company credit card, company vehicle, per diem, full benefits
- Install, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot instrumentation and control systems, including loop checks, testing, diagnostics, and control valve support
- Read and interpret P&IDs, schematics, and technical documentation; support PLC, DCS, SCADA, RTU, and VFD systems
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Support commissioning, startups, outages, and emergency response while maintaining tools, equipment, and professional communication with customers and teams
