Maintenance Technician –'s Franchise

We are a busy multi-location McDonald's franchise operator in the Plantation/Broward County area seeking a reliable, hands‑on Full‑Time Maintenance Technician to keep our 5 restaurants running smoothly. If you have experience troubleshooting and repairing Taylor shake/soft serve machines, Taylor grills, Frymaster Fryers and other commercial kitchen equipment, we want to hear from you! This role is critical for preventive maintenance, repairs, and equipment verifications to ensure safety, compliance, and minimal downtime.

Other tasks include maintaining restaurant technology such as registers, printers and credit card readers. Preventative maintenance of restaurant equipment. Pressure cleaning and painting. Some tile and grout repair. Other interior and exterior repairs of locations.

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on restaurant equipment and facility systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and pneumatic issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
• Repair or replace faulty components including motors, wiring, switches, valves, and other mechanical parts u
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues.
• Conduct pressure cleaning and painting or minor facility upgrades as needed to maintain a clean and professional environment.
• Supervise or assist in supervising junior technicians or contractors during repair projects or scheduled maintenance tasks.

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related fields such as manufacturing or residential repair.
• Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration.
• Supervising experience or leadership skills are preferred for overseeing maintenance projects or junior staff.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy equipment, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces safely.
