The North Carolina Department of Adult Correction is seeking an HVAC Mechanic I (S) for Roanoke River Correctional Institution in Halifax County to perform preventive and routine maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems for a medium and minimum custody facility housing over 800 adult males.
Responsibilities include maintaining HVAC equipment, installing new systems, troubleshooting electronic/pneumatic controls, and supervising inmate helpers as needed.
