KIPP NC is seeking a Transportation Mechanic II to perform advanced mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic work on the school bus fleet. This role acts as a technical lead, mentoring junior mechanics and supporting preventive maintenance to ensure fleet readiness, safety, and compliance.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years in automotive or diesel maintenance, CDL and NC DOT Medical Card, and ASE certifications preferred. Strong mentoring and documentation skills are required.
