City of Shelby is seeking a skilled Gas Utility Technician I to assist in repairing, replacing, and installing gas lines and meters under supervision. You will locate mains, inspect for leaks, and support corrosion and regulatory testing while following safety protocols and federal guidelines.
Required:
high school diploma or GED; ability to obtain Operator Qualification within two years and a North Carolina commercial driver’s license within two years.
