Job Duties
Join our dedicated Building Maintenance and Operations team as a Facilities Maintenance Technician and play a vital role in keeping our campus systems running safely, efficiently, and reliably. In this position, you’ll use your technical expertise to maintain, repair, and install a wide range of building systems, including HVACR, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate is a skilled problem-solver with strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and service excellence.

Keyresponsibilities and duties include, but not limited to:
- Maintain, repair, and install HVACR systems, including air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating equipment
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair steam/hot water boilers and auxiliary equipment, such as pumps, condensate receivers, steam lines, pressure‑reducing stations, air compressors, and water softeners
- Perform preventive maintenance per manufacturer guidelines on refrigeration and air conditioning equipment
- Conduct electrical work up to 600 VAC, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical panels, breakers, switch gear, magnetic starters, disconnects, motors, and lighting systems
- Troubleshoot and repair control systems, including temperature controls, regulators, humidity controls, sensors, pneumatic control valves, and regulators
- Install and maintain plumbing systems, including cutting, threading, assembling, and installing pipes, valves, and fixtures for gas, water, and sanitation systems
- Perform pipe fitting and insulation work related to steam and water distribution systems
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices while performing all duties
