Crew Leader, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

Yellowstone Landscape is hiring a Construction Crew Leader to run commercial landscape installation projects. Lead a small crew on grading, planting, hardscapes, and irrigation installs for HOAs, resorts, and commercial sites. Coordinate daily tasks, read basic site plans, and ensure work meets safety, quality, and schedule goals. Operate trucks and power equipment, train and mentor crew members, and complete simple progress and safety reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead a field crew on commercial landscape construction projects
• Coordinate daily work plans and assign tasks to crew members
• Install plant material, sod, mulch, and other landscape elements
• Assist with basic hardscape and site preparation work
• Install and repair irrigation lines, heads, and valves under supervision
• Operate trucks, trailers, and landscape construction equipment
• Enforce and model all safety procedures and PPE use
• Train, mentor, and evaluate crew members on work quality and efficiency
• Read and follow basic site plans and supervisor instructions
• Complete simple daily reports on progress, materials, and issues
