Window Installation Crew

The Aluminum Company of North Carolina is in search of a dedicated, motivated and skilled field technician to fill our open position on a Window Installation Installation Crew. This is a field-based contractor position working hands‑on to accomplish daily exterior remodeling tasks. The qualities of the ideal candidate are:

• A desire to succeed when faced with challenges.
• A strong ability to communicate with customers, department and project managers and upper management.
• The ability to complete assigned tasks/projects in a timely manner and with an extremely high attention to detail.
• A proven track record of managing a daily schedule and scheduled appointments.
• Past, verifiable work history in the exterior remodeling trades with a focus on the following:
  • Replacement window installation experience.
  • Trim coil fabrication with a metal brake for fascia and window and door casings.
  • Carpentry repairs such as fascia, soffit, brick mold, crown molding, etc.
  • Roof (both shingle and metal) knowledge is a huge plus.
  • Glass and glazing experience is a huge plus.
  • Vinyl and Hardie siding experience.
  • Door installation and replacement experience.

To be considered for the position, the candidate must possess the following:

• A valid NC Driver's License.
• The ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screening.
• A clean driving record to operate a company vehicle.
• The ability to regularly lift 75 lbs., carry an extension ladder, and work in many varied work environments in the field.
• Previous OSHA training is a plus.
• Clean, non‑lettered/signed pickup truck or van
• Current and active worker’s comp and general liability insurance
• Metal brake and skills to bend all needed profiles
• All hand tools, power tools, etc., to complete replacement work
• All needed ladders and pump jacks/staging to handle all sizes of projects
• All safety equipment needed for working at heights (harness, etc.)
• Previous remodeling experience is a must
• Window, door, or siding replacement experience is a must
• Ability to communicate with customers is a must
