Responsibilities

Service & Repair

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial refrigeration equipment, including walk-in coolers/freezers, reach-ins, and ice machines.
  • Service residential and light-commercial HVAC systems.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Identify equipment problems and recommend appropriate repairs or solutions.

Preventative Maintenance

  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems.
  • Maintain equipment to help ensure reliable, efficient operation for contract customers.
  • Document service work and communicate findings professionally.

Installation

  • Lead or assist with the installation of new heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems.
  • Installers will have opportunities to cross-train in service and refrigeration.
  • Maintain a high standard of workmanship, safety, and professionalism on every installation.

Customer Service

  • Provide professional, courteous service to customers throughout the Research Triangle area.
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding equipment issues, repairs, and recommended solutions.
  • Represent CSR professionally while working at customer locations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-5 years of HVAC/R service or installation experience.
  • Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles and HVAC systems.
  • Experience with electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new equipment and systems, including scientific laboratory and commercial kitchen applications.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and willing to learn.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Professional attitude and strong customer-service skills.
  • Valid North Carolina driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
