Position Summary
The Department of Psychiatry and the Bowles Center for Alcohol Studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seek an Open Rank/Tenure‑Track physician or clinician scientist with significant experience in addiction research. The major expectation is to develop and maintain an independent clinical research program related to alcohol and/or substance abuse and dependence that fosters bridges between basic science and the clinical addiction medicine program.
Minimum Education And Experience Requirements- PhD, MD, or MD/PhD degree required.
- Postdoctoral training preferred.
- Research experience relevant to alcohol and/or substance abuse and dependence disorders.
- Record of relevant publications and scholarly activity.
- Strong clinical skills and experience working with an inter‑disciplinary team, including trainees from a variety of disciplines.
