Job Title:
Psychiatry Open Track/Rank Faculty – Addiction Program
Department:Medicine | Psychiatry
Key Responsibilities:- Advance an externally funded program of research in substance use disorders.
- Publish research in high‑quality peer‑reviewed scientific journals.
- Mentor trainees across all academic levels.
- Participate in division, department, college, and university committees and initiatives.
- Contribute to the development, leadership, or substantial input to research, education, and clinical programs.
- Advanced degree (M.D. or Ph.D.) with specialization in Psychiatry or Clinical Psychology from an accredited program.
- Specialized training pathways aligned with Ohio licensure and clinical practice.
- Strong record of external research funding or high potential for extramural funding.
- Experience in developing, leading, or substantially contributing to research, education, and clinical programs.
- Expertise in randomized clinical trial designs, overdose risk, and treatment recovery is encouraged.
- Ph.D. candidates in related fields may be considered if they demonstrate commitment to training clinical professionals and supporting clinical care.
