Psychiatry Open Track/Rank Faculty – Addiction Program

Medicine | Psychiatry

• Advance an externally funded program of research in substance use disorders.
• Publish research in high‑quality peer‑reviewed scientific journals.
• Mentor trainees across all academic levels.
• Participate in division, department, college, and university committees and initiatives.
• Contribute to the development, leadership, or substantial input to research, education, and clinical programs.

• Advanced degree (M.D. or Ph.D.) with specialization in Psychiatry or Clinical Psychology from an accredited program.
• Specialized training pathways aligned with Ohio licensure and clinical practice.
• Strong record of external research funding or high potential for extramural funding.
• Experience in developing, leading, or substantially contributing to research, education, and clinical programs.
• Expertise in randomized clinical trial designs, overdose risk, and treatment recovery is encouraged.
• Ph.D. candidates in related fields may be considered if they demonstrate commitment to training clinical professionals and supporting clinical care.
