LocationWhiteville, North Carolina (Columbus County).
Job SummaryThis position evaluates clients’ vocational interests, achievements, and psychological attributes to develop formal evaluation plans and recommend services as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Key Duties- Administer, score, and interpret a variety of vocational interests, achievement, and psychological tests.
- Analyze consumers’ medical, psychological, socioeconomic, vocational, and educational information.
- Develop a formal evaluation plan for each client.
- Conduct community‑based assessments and make referrals for evaluation services to the consumer and the rehabilitation counselor(s).
- Create written reports outlining vocational aptitudes, interests, and abilities to support the vocational planning process.
- Gather occupational resource information to improve service deliverables.
- Participate in multi‑disciplinary teams and committees to exchange information and planning.
- Partner with consumers, family members, employers, school personnel, and community agencies and contacts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge or experience in testing or evaluation.
- Knowledge or experience in working with the public.
- Knowledge or experience with report writing.
Grade Range: $39,244 – $68,679. Recruitment Range: $39,244 – $53,962.

Employment ConditionsPosition is funded in part through federal funds and is eligible for a hybrid‑teleworking schedule that requires weekly on‑site work hours. Posting closes at 11:59 p.m. the night before the end date.
