Overview

Lead Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) – 10270 Blacklick, Eastern Road NW, Pickerington, OH 43147. Pay $22–23 per hour. Observe self‑administration of medications and provide overnight care in a safe, therapeutic environment.

• Monitor and ensure the safety and well‑being of residents throughout the night.
• Conduct routine room checks and maintain accurate documentation.
• Support residents in adhering to treatment plans and facility rules.
• Assist with crisis intervention and de‑escalation techniques when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with clinical staff and participate in shift‑change reports.
• Maintain a clean, structured, and therapeutic environment.

• High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in behavioral health, residential care, or similar setting is a plus.
• Ability to remain alert and responsive during overnight hours.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
