The Full Stack Engineer will contribute to building and enhancing digital products using a hybrid technology stack including Angular, Java, and Spring.
As a key member of an Agile Scrum team, this role collaborates closely with cross-functional partners to design, develop, test, and deliver high-quality digital features and applications.
The engineer is expected to bring strong technical expertise, a test-first mindset, and the ability to innovate and solve complex problems.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and deliver full-stack features using Angular, Java, and Spring.
- Work closely with the Squad Lead, Scrum Master, Tech Lead, Systems Analyst, QA, Architects, and Developers to deliver high-quality digital experiences.
- Integrate applications with APIs and ensure strong understanding and implementation of RESTful web services.
- Utilize CI/CD tools such as Git Hub, Jenkins, Artifactory, and uDeploy to support Dev Ops-driven deployments.
- Implement secure coding practices and contribute to overall application security.
- Work with cloud environments such as Azure or AWS/EKS.
- Lead application upgrades and assist with platform implementations.
- Apply knowledge of architecture and design patterns to build scalable, resilient solutions.
- Identify and troubleshoot potential issues during application development.
- Communicate technical needs and constraints effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Encourage continuous improvement through curiosity, innovation, and challenging the status quo.
- 8+ years of software development experience with Java, Spring, and RESTful services.
- Experience with API integration and RESTful service design.
- Strong experience with automation tools and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and tools (Git Hub, Jenkins, Artifactory, uDeploy).
- Experience with cloud technologies (Azure or AWS/EKS).
- Knowledge of secure coding standards and techniques.
- Proficiency with relational databases and SQL.
- Understanding of architecture and design patterns for scalable systems.
- Ability to perform complex technical and functional analysis.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation.
- Experience with application upgrades or platform migrations.
- Strong test-first development mindset and familiarity with modern testing frameworks.
