Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack

As a Senior Software Engineer at Tanium, you will build and maintain best-of-breed products as part of a nimble development team. You will specifically be part of a team that is building out a new service that manages all the certificates for our internal services.

• Collaborate on design, development, and maintenance of software services, focusing on a new certificate management service for internal systems.

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience
  • CS Degree preferred
• Experience
  • 5+ years industry experience
  • Experience designing and building high-impact, high-performance, scalable, observable, and maintainable backend services and APIs
  • Knowledge of at least one of Golang (preferred), Node.js, Python, Ruby, Rust, or Java
  • Experience with React, Java script, or Type Script
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform and other infrastructure technology
  • Experience with modern software engineering development and automation tools like Git and Jenkins
• Other
  • Experience with Privileged Access Management systems is a plus
  • Demonstrates sound judgment for balancing rapid development with long-term code maintainability and supportability
  • Believes in the power of and the need for writing automated tests as part of development
  • Experienced debugger who can respond to production issues under pressure
  • Knowledge of a variety of modern software frameworks (server-side & browser-side) and the versatility to learn new tools

The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000 to $355,000. This range is an estimate for what Tanium will pay a new hire. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on location, education, skills, training, and experience.
