Full Stack engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Full Stack engineer who can develop and maintain web applications while collaborating on platform architecture and team initiatives. The full stack engineer will be hybrid in Durham, NC.

Requirements for the Full Stack engineer include:

-Build and maintain efficient backend services and responsive front-end components to support core application functionality

-Identify system bottlenecks and implement improvements to enhance speed, scalability, and overall efficiency

-Investigate and resolve software bugs to ensure a stable and reliable user experience

-Support the development of unit tests and automated testing frameworks to maintain high code quality

-Create and update documentation for internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure clarity and continuity

Qualifications for the Full Stack engineer include:

-2-5 years of hands-on experience in full stack development

-Proficient in back-end technologies such as Node.js and Java

-Solid experience working with SQL and relational databases

-Strong front-end development skills, specifically with React

JS and Typescript

-A deep understanding of database design and data modeling principles

-Experience creating and managing APIs and microservices

-Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

-Must be able to hold a security clearance in the US

Compensation for the Full Stack engineer includes:

-Salary range: $100,000 - $125,000
