Java​/AWS Engineer

Job Summary

You've worked with tools and expertise that aid in Continuous integration and deployment including but not limited to GIT/Stash, Jenkins, JUnit, Sonar, uDeploy, etc.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $69 - $70 per hour

Work Hours:

8am to 5pm

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree

• 8+ years experience with Java and its ecosystem
• Experience in Server Side Java, J2EE, REST, SQL, JUnit, and Tomcat
• 3+ years experience designing and developing enterprise cloud-based solutions using Amazon Cloud Computing Services, including EBS, IAM, SWF, and SQS; performing serverless software development using Amazon Lambda written in NodeJS, Java via REST, or AWS SDK, coding, storing, retrieving, and versioning S3 objects, Kinesis and SQS streams
• 3+ years building applications that utilize CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Oracle PL/SQL and ability to write complex queries
• Keen interest in learning new technologies and their adoption
• Strong software development skills using Java and web application technologies in a service-oriented architecture

Strong experience in dev-ops activities like dockerization, development of bash code to automate server builds, and deployment to continuous deployment servers.
