Full Stack Senior Software Engineer – In‑Person (Durham, NC)
We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Senior Software Engineer to build new features and maintain our digital platform. The role reports to the VP of Software Engineering and requires onsite work three days a week at our Durham, NC headquarters.
Responsibilities- Implement scalable REST APIs and application UIs
- Identify bottlenecks and improve software efficiency
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs
- Contribute towards unit tests and test‑automation
- Contribute to system architecture and infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Document internal and external systems
- Salaried, DOE

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
- 6‑8 years of experience as full‑stack engineer
- Proficient in back‑end languages such as Node.js, Java (8+)
- Deep understanding of relational database systems
- Well‑versed in front‑end frameworks, preferably React
JS/Type Script - Strong bias toward action and ownership
- Exceptional communication skills
- Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Experience writing well‑documented REST APIs
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, efficient algorithms, unit tests, and modeling data as graphs
