Software Engineer – Labcorp of America Holdings

Location:

Durham, NC (3 days a week onsite, 2 days remote in the U.S.)

Responsibilities

Diagnose, debug and remediate defects.
Develop new features and integrate them into the existing architecture.
Design, build, and consume RESTful APIs.
Apply Test‑Driven Development practices.
Design systems in the domain of clinical trials.
Provide QA automation expertise.
Use thread‑safe concurrent programming.
Secure applications using OAuth
2.

Qualifications

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
10 years progressive experience as Application Developer, Software Engineer or related role.
Demonstrated experience with Java/JVM, Docker, Open Shift, Web Sphere, and Spring (Spring Data JPA, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Beans).
Experience with more than one technology stack for applications.
Experience designing and building RESTful APIs.
Experience in test‑driven development.
Experience designing systems in the domain of clinical trials.
Expertise in QA automation.
Experience with thread‑safe concurrent programming.
Experience with application security using OAuth
