WHATYou'll Do
- Collaborate with appropriate team leaders and other end users to define, design, implement, and successfully deliver high‑quality, custom applications to organizational teams, including a variety of assigned internal software systems.
- Provide a high level of quality assurance, testing, project lifecycle and deployment management, and basic system and database administration.
- Participate in and/or lead the development, enhancement, and support of assigned in‑house software applications, data pipelines, and enhancements to existing third‑party application systems.
- Manage project lifecycle, deployment, and release for product launches.
- Design and implement applications for assigned business workflows.
- Architect new applications and redesign/modernize existing ones.
- Build and implement data pipelines and manage databases to support business applications.
- Support some of the more complex and/or challenging processes.
- Mentor less experienced applications staff members and participate in staff member development.
- Perform other duties deemed necessary.
- Bachelor’s degree in a computer‑related field such as computer science or software engineering, or equivalent related experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in developing and maintaining production business applications.
- Experience with 3‑Tier application architecture and development, and ETL process design and management.
- Required technologies: C# and/or , T‑SQL/MSSQL and/or MySQL, Git, Dapper.
- Preferred technologies:
Win Forms, Python, Blazor web development framework, CentOS, Git Lab Dev Ops CI/CD, deployments and shell scripting. - Strong commitment to our mission – creating economic opportunity for traditionally underserved communities.
- Preference for working in organizations that place priority on teamwork and collaboration.
- Willingness and ability to learn applicable business practices, processes, and working concepts.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, including the ability to handle more complex project assignments independently and with minimal supervision.
- Ability to build and maintain productive relationships throughout the organization and to be viewed as a credible business partner to assigned work teams.
- Exposure to applicable financial/lending applications and/or software is preferred.
