We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and deliver modern customer-facing digital applications in a cloud-first environment. This role is responsible for building scalable, secure, and resilient full stack solutions using modern front-end and back-end technologies while collaborating with architecture, security, UX, and platform engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in enterprise application development, cloud-native technologies, API design, and Agile delivery methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end customer-facing applications using modern full stack technologies.
- Build scalable front-end solutions using Angular, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Type Script, and related web technologies.
- Develop back-end services and RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and open-source technologies.
- Architect and implement enterprise digital applications using design patterns such as MVC, micro front-end, and microservices architectures.
- Collaborate with architecture, security, UX, and platform engineering teams to deliver compliant and scalable solutions.
- Implement cloud-native and containerized solutions using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Support Dev Sec Ops initiatives using tools such as Jenkins, Sonar Qube, Mend.io, Datadog, Git, and Git Hub.
- Develop quality-first applications using Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies and automated testing tools.
- Participate in Agile and Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Apply secure coding standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams to analyze requirements and solve technical challenges.
- Provide technical mentorship and contribute to engineering standards, best practices, and tooling strategies.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, development trends, and modern software engineering practices.
- Support cloud-first initiatives and contribute to the adoption of AWS native services and modern engineering principles.
- 9+ years of experience designing and implementing full stack customer-facing applications.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working in Agile and Scrum development environments.
- Strong front-end development experience with Angular (11+), HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Type Script, and web components.
- Experience developing applications using Java (11+), Spring Boot, and open-source technologies.
- Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture including MVC, micro front-end, and microservices patterns.
- Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Experience with Git version control systems and Git workflows.
- Experience with Dev Sec Ops tools and practices including Jenkins, Sonar Qube, Mend.io, Datadog, Git Hub, and related tools.
- Experience with AWS cloud services, serverless architectures, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience developing secure applications and implementing secure coding standards.
- Strong experience with automated testing and TDD using tools such as Mockito, Jasmine, Mocha, and JUnit.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with modern development practices including trunk-based development, monorepos, feature toggles, and branch by abstraction.
- Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to mentor team members and contribute within collaborative engineering environments.
- Experience providing engineering thought leadership within enterprise organizations.
- Experience collaborating with architecture, security, and UX teams on enterprise initiatives.
- Experience supporting cloud-first transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of modern web application architectures and emerging technologies.
- Ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies and industry trends.
