Full Stack Engineer (Angular Heavy with Java)

Location: Durham, NC (Onsite 1 week a month and remote 3 weeks a month)
Duration: 12+ Months
Must Haves: Recent direct experience with Angular/Type Script. This role is 70-80% front end. Recent direct experience with Java and Spring/Spring Boot for the 20-30% backend work. Front-end and mid-tier software development experience. Experience with REST web services. Unit Testing creation exposure (JUnit, Mockito, Karma/Jasmine). Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Nice to haves are some AWS experience with deployments and Dev Ops with Jenkins and pipeline construction.
The RoleYou will be joining the Digital Experience Product Area of our institutional brokerage trading websites, Wealthscape and Wealthscape Investor. You’ll develop and maintain critical customer-facing functionality, pages, and features such as Crypto Hub, Balances and Positions, Mobile applications, and more. Your work will impact the thousands of registered investment advisors, correspondents, and individual investors who use our platform.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring- 8+ years of experience with Angular/Type Script
- Recent direct experience with Java and Spring/Spring Boot
- Front-end and mid-tier software development experience
- Experience with REST web services
- Unit Testing creation exposure (JUnit, Mockito, Karma/Jasmine)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Awareness of AWS-based deployment and Dev Ops
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Knowledge of Docker containerization
- Knowledge of Jenkins and Jenkins pipeline construction
- Experience working with UDeploy, Artifactory, Sonar, Service Now
- B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
