Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for UI and API testing.
- Build and execute automation test suites using Cypress and/or Playwright.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and business stakeholders to review requirements and define test strategies.
- Design reusable automation components and testing utilities to improve testing efficiency.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.
- Investigate, isolate, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects using both automated and manual testing techniques.
- Validate Angular or Vue-based web applications and RESTful APIs; support GraphQL testing where applicable.
- Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test documentation based on business requirements.
- Ensure applications meet performance, security, reliability, scalability, and usability standards.
- Perform rapid prototyping and proof-of-concept testing for new solutions.
- Mentor junior QA Automation Engineers and promote automation best practices.
- Participate in cross-team collaboration to improve automation standards and testing processes.
- Support accessibility testing and quality engineering initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
- 6+ years of professional experience in software testing or software development with a strong focus on test automation.
- Experience developing and maintaining enterprise automation frameworks using Cypress and/or Playwright.
- Experience testing Angular or Vue-based web applications.
- Experience testing RESTful APIs;
GraphQL experience is a plus. - Strong understanding of automated and manual testing methodologies.
- Experience working in Agile Scrum environments.
- Experience with Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands‑on experience with Git or Bitbucket, Jenkins, and deployment automation tools.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
- Experience with GraphQL testing.
- Experience with code quality and test coverage tools such as Sonar or Sea Lights.
- Experience with accessibility testing.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and promoting automation best practices.
- Passion for learning and adopting emerging technologies and testing tools.
