Senior Full Stack Engineer

The Role

The Core Experiences team in Fidelity Brokerage is looking for an expert Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their Bank Linking team, to develop high-quality, testable, readable, and easily maintainable code. The candidate should participate in and lead all phases of the development process, from conception to deployment as a member of an agile, cross-functional team. The position is based in Raleigh, North Carolina and will do hands on development and provide technical leadership and mentorship for junior members of the team.

• Bachelor’s in computer science or related major with 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
• 3+ years expertise in Angular.
• 2+ years of experience developing REST API in Node JS
• 5+ years experience with Typescript, Core JavaScript, HTML 5, and CSS
• 3+ years experience in building, deploying and operating applications in the Cloud (AWS Serverless, EKS, KMS, Step Functions, Lambda, S3, Kubernetes).
• Experience in automation Jenkins pipelines, automated regression testing, continuous integration/deployment)
• Experience of consuming and designing RESTful APIs, and good knowledge of standard methodologies in API design.
• Experience of using node.js and a good understanding of npm packages.
• Participation in the design and architecture of full stack software solutions.
• Experience with Dev Ops CI/CD practices, TDD, knowledge of modern testing framework is a plus
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at a given time.
• Passionate and committed to learning new things and developing with the latest technologies and frameworks.
• Strong contributor with a work style in building, crafting and reviewing code.
• Assist with a variety of ongoing support and maintenance tasks.
• Guide junior developers in building their craft, and coaching standards and engineering best practices.

• Work with product management on requirements, decompose epics into stories, and deliver solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Build scalable, resilient, cloud-based systems aligned with our long-term strategy.
• Provide outstanding support, including on-call support when necessary.
