Job Description

Role Purpose

The role is to design, test, and maintain software programs for operating systems or applications deployed at a client end and ensure quality assurance parameters are met.

Responsibilities

Understanding requirements and product/software design

Develop software solutions by studying information needs, system flow, data usage, and work processes

Investigate problem areas through the software development life cycle

Facilitate root cause analysis of system issues and problem statements

Identify ideas to improve system performance and availability

Analyze client requirements and convert them to feasible design

Collaborate with functional teams or systems analysts on software requirements

Coordinate with project managers to obtain information on software capabilities

Responsibilities (continued)

Perform coding and ensure optimal software/module development

Evaluate feasibility by analyzing requirements and proposed software

Develop and automate processes for software validation by designing test cases and executing them

Modify software to fix errors, adapt to new hardware, improve performance, or upgrade interfaces

Analyze information to plan installation of new systems or modifications

Ensure code is error-free and test failure-free

Prepare reports on project specifications, activities, and status

Ensure code documentation and replication patterns meet project norms

Maintain timely, comprehensive documentation and reports

Coordinate daily project status with the team and document progress

Provide feedback on usability and serviceability and report quality risks to stakeholders

Status reporting and customer focus during project execution

Capture client requirements and clarifications for quality work

Take regular feedback to ensure smooth, on-time delivery

Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices

Consult with engineering staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces and develop performance specifications

Document and demonstrate solutions via documentation, flowcharts, diagrams, and clear code comments

Provide formal documentation of software details from proposal to implementation

Maintain good customer interaction via email, fault-report tracking, calls, and etiquette

Respond to customer requests promptly with minimal complaints

Deliverables and Performance

Performance parameters include continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring with aim of 100% error-free onboarding and implementation; quality metrics including CSAT and on-time delivery; and MIS/reporting with timely generation.

Skills:

Fullstack Java Enterprise

Experience: 5–8 years

Compensation: The expected range is $60,000 to $135,000. Final compensation depends on location, skills, and experience.
